It is not possible to discuss the things in this book with also addressing the issues of the end times or eschatology. It is worth stating that there is much debate among theologians concerning the timing of the “catching up of the saints” There is contextual evidence for both a “Pre-Trib” and “Post-Trib” view on the rapture.
While I value many friends who hold to the idea that we will endure the tribulation, I believe the stronger evidence points to we would catch up before the great and dreadful day of the Lord. (Joel 2:28-32)
Steve Hill says it best, “God is not giving us time to party. He is giving up space to repent.” The imminent coming of the Lord for the Church is more near than ever. Now is not the time to hit cruise control!
…God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him… (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10)
